All specialists must have a high degree of competency in the area for which they are applying. Specialists teach and lead their specialized activities to groups of kids of all ages. Specialists also help supervise campers and assist with all-camp events, overnight camp-outs and unit activities. Challenge Specialists facilitate initiatives, low ropes, high ropes, and rock wall activities for groups of campers, as well as safety check and maintain ropes course and rock wall and other equipment. Documented facilitator training & experience is required. Minimum age is 18 years old. Salary is $300 - $400 a week + room and board. The position starts July 3, 2009 - July 31, 2009.
