Campography aspires to comply with the United States' Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, commonly known as COPPA. As such, we currently restrict signup for the system to users aged 13 years and older. We encourage parents to have frank discussions with children regarding online precautions and safety.
While users are free to post personal details on their profiles, they have the ability to restrict the display of those details to only their online friends and connections. Photos have similar restrictions, and no photos are available to outside users of the system. Users are encouraged to utilize these restrictions and refuse unwanted and/or repeated friend requests.
The Campography community system contains the ability for users to report harassment, bullying, and account tampering and vandalism right in the system. We take these reports VERY seriously and will act on them quickly.
Campography also stores and backs up a good deal of user data in a safe location. While we keep your data safe from prying eyes, it also give us the ability to respond quickly to requests from authorized law enforcement agencies for records and activity logs to assist in criminal investigations.
