Camp Mountain Chai expands and enriches Jewish identity by establishing an atmosphere of knowledge and love for Jewish culture, traditions and religion. Through sports, arts, outdoor adventure and aquatics, campers build life-long friendships, independence and self worth. Camp Mountain Chai is located in the beautiful San Bernardino Forest. The campsite is located at 7500 feet in the mountains. The camp is located about 2 hours from Los Angeles and San Diego, California, and about four hours from Las Vegas, Nevada. Our location in the high dessert is both unique and breathtaking. CMC provides a warm and caring family atmosphere. Our highly trained staff works hard to maintain this safe, nurturing environment for your children. Kids develop a sense of community through the many forms of group activities offered throughout the day. At the same time, each camper's individuality is also honored and respected. Extra care is taken to ensure that new campers feel welcome even before they arrive. We give every new camper an "email pal," someone their age that they can correspond with before camp. This opportunity provides every camper with someone familiar to look forward to seeing when they arrive at camp.
